Areas of Focus
Support for the emotional challenges that come with being human.
-
Anxiety and stress can feel like you're always "on" - caught in a cycle of worry, tension, or racing thoughts that are hard to switch off. It might show up in your body, your sleep, or your relationships, even when you try to manage it on your own. In our work together, we explore the deeper roots of these patterns and support your nervous system to move toward safety and rest. Over time, this can create space for greater calm and confidence in how you meet life’s demands.
-
When everything feels heavy, flat, or unmotivated, it can be hard to connect with yourself, let alone others. Depression and burnout can take away your spark for life and sense of direction. Together, we hold space for the deeper stories beneath these feelings and explore pathways toward meaning and emotional renewal, at a pace that feels right for you.
-
Even positive change can feel disorienting. You might be moving through a shift in career, relationship, identity, or stage of life—and find yourself unsure of how to feel, or who you are now. Transitions often stir up old patterns and invite new possibilities. In therapy, we create space to pause, reflect, and gently reorient. Together, we explore what you're moving away from, what you're moving toward, and how to meet this in-between space with curiosity, self-trust, and care.
-
It’s easy to fall into cycles of self-doubt or to feel like you’re constantly not enough. The inner critic can be persistent and convincing, often echoing old beliefs that no longer serve you. In therapy, we bring gentle awareness to these patterns, understand where they began, and explore how to relate to yourself with more care, acceptance, and self-worth.
-
Loss can take many forms, and grief doesn’t move in a straight line. It may arise in response to death, a change in identity, the end of a relationship, or even the quiet fading of something once familiar. In this space, your experience is honoured and witnessed with compassion. We work together to hold the pain while gently making room for what’s still meaningful, still possible, still alive.
-
Even when everything looks fine on the outside, there can be a sense of pressure, urgency, or not doing enough that runs just beneath the surface. You might feel constantly driven but also deeply exhausted. Therapy can help uncover what’s fuelling these patterns and offer a space to slow down, soften inner expectations, and reconnect with a sense of worth that isn’t tied to performance.
-
You may be in a season of questioning, wondering who you are outside of roles, relationships, or past choices. Perhaps what used to feel clear no longer fits, and you’re seeking something more aligned, more authentic. This space invites reflection and exploration around identity, purpose, and what it means to live in a way that feels meaningful to you.
